Job Requirements

  • Degree Information Technology, Systems, or a related field.
  • Any 2 certifications below:
  • CompTIA Linux+
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA),
    • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Linux
    • Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
    • SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA)
    • Oracle Linux 8 Administrator Certified Associate
    • Ubuntu Certified Professional
    • Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (for cloud-focused Linux admins)
  • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and file system hierarchy – Minimum 2 years Experience(For non-junior position) Deep understanding of Nginx Web Servers.
  • Production experience with Docker Compose, Ansible.
  • Experience with Backup processes, Git repositories.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with different cloud providers ( AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloudflare, DNS records and various Domain Providers.
  • Knowledge of protocols, such as DNS, HTTP/S, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP
  • Experience in DB2, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and OpenLDAP.
  • Experience with monitoring services, Knowledge of the REST API and HTTP protocol.
  • Experience with Writing scripts in bash and/or python to automate workflow processes.
  • Knowledge of Security Best-Practices, troubleshooting and debugging skills on WordPress backend UI.
  • Added Advantages: Experience with Cloudflare Workers Knowledge with Javascript.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Proficiency in written/spoken Mandarin/Chinese is a must – Supporting Chinese clients/software/Tools.

In this role, you’ll manage servers, troubleshoot issues, perform system upgrades, and support internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment and is eager to grow their expertise.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor server performance and perform systems maintenance / backups according to requirements, Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Develop expertise for self improvement and to train staff on new technologies.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
  • Perform on-page/Off-page optimization activities based on client’s requirements, review client sites and provide feedback on areas that can be improved
  • Stay on top of latest Baidu-specific and google algorithm releases and report any changes that may impact the client’s websites.
  • Participating in other ad-hoc projects including but not limited to, the above-listed responsibilities as requested by the company.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain web stacks, support dev teams to finetune web stacks.
  • Manage and maintain domain list and DNS configs.
  • Support marketing teams’ system and WordPress config needs
  • Be ready on call for emergency over the weekends and holidays.
